Meet our Team

Wade Gungoll , CEO
Wade Gungoll

As co-founder and CEO of Industrial Sun, Wade has served as a development executive or General Counsel for over 2GW of utility-scale solar energy projects across the United States, including some of the largest projects in operation today. As a result of his efforts, more than $2 billion in funds have been successfully invested in operational renewable energy projects, with enough clean energy generated to power the equivalent of over 500,000 American homes. Earlier in his career, he was a General Counsel and land management executive in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Gungoll earned a B.A., with distinction, from Yale and holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School.

Jeff Sabins , Chief Development Officer
Jeff Sabins

Jeff Sabins is the Chief Development Officer at Industrial Sun. With over 13 years of experience in renewable development, he has delivered 1.2GW of completed projects and over $1 billion in project investments. Before joining Industrial Sun, Sabins co-founded and served as Chief Development Officer at Solar Proponent, where he led the development of 6GW of solar and 6GWh of energy storage projects in ERCOT. He also held a leadership role as U.S. General Manager at Energiekontor and led mixed renewable energy projects at RES Americas. Sabins holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Energy and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Jeff is based in Austin, Texas.

Jeff Sullivan

As Industrial Sun's Vice President of Finance, Jeff leads the company's financial planning and project finance activities and manages relationships with current and potential capital partners. Jeff has four years of experience in the solar industry and has been a key player in the financing of over 1.2 GWdc of projects, power contracting for over 900 MWdc, and the sale of a 9 GW development pipeline. He started his career as an Officer at Naval Reactors where he led design engineering, construction, testing, and lifecycle planning activities for aircraft carrier nuclear propulsion systems. Jeff holds a Master of Business Administration and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas.

Alexandra Williams , VP of Origination
Alexandra Williams

Alexandra is responsible for Industrial Sun’s origination efforts where she devises creative power solutions to meet customer needs. Her extensive career experience in the power sector includes contracting over 800 MW of renewable power purchases and managing the two largest demand response books in the ERCOT market--with over 15 GW of aggregated power generation. Notably, the Gulf Coast Power Association selected her as the 2021 recipient of the Empowering Young Professionals Award, given annually to someone under 40 who has accomplished excellence in the power industry. Prior to joining the Industrial Sun team, she served ExxonMobil Corporation (XOM), where she developed and expanded XOM’s participation in the power markets. At XOM, she was responsible for renewable power purchases, trading, growing the demand response portfolio and managing key relationships/accounts in ERCOT, CAISO and MISO. Alexandra began her career at MP2 Energy on the real-time desk and later moved on to EDF Trading North America. Alexandra is a NERC certified reliability coordinator and a graduate of the University of Houston with a B.A. in History and a B.S. in Political Science.
